Leigh's Liam Kay leads the team to thank the fans for their support after defeating Bradford
Leaders Leigh extended their
unbeaten run to 14 matches with a thrilling 24-20 victory over Bradford
in the final match on the opening day of the Summer Bash.
The Bulls led 10-0 after only nine minutes after scoring
tries through Danny Williams and Mitch Clark - plus a goal from Danny
Addy - but the Centurions struck back with scores from wingers Liam Kay
and Adam Higson and new signing Josh Drinkwater to go 18-10 in front
early in the second half.Adam O'Brien cut Leigh's advantage to just four points after 53 minutes and, after Addy plunged over for his side's fourth try six minutes from the end to level the scores, Oscar Thomas added the conversion to put Bradford back in
front.
London Broncos consolidated second place in the Kingstone Press Championship with a 32-14 victory over Sheffield Eagles at the Summer Bash in Blackpool.

Garside somehow managed to contort his body into a shape to score from a
difficult angle for London Broncos against Sheffield Eagles
They led 20-10 at half-time thanks to tries from Rhys Williams, Nick Slyney, former Sheffield forward Matt Garside and Alex Foster, while Jack Bussey and Eddie Battye touched down in the second half and Wes Naiqama kicked four goals
as London completed the double over the Eagles.
Tries from Quentin Laulu-Togagae, Cory Aston and Rob Worrincy could not prevent Sheffield slipping to their fifth defeat in six games.
Workington's former Bradford and Wakefield half-back Jarrod Sammut scored a hat-trick of tries but ended up on the losing side as Whitehaven won the Cumbrian derby at Bloomfield Road.
Whitehaven led from the third minute when second rower Dave Allen went over for the first of their four tries, the others coming from Chris Taylor, Jessie Joe Parker and Craig Calvert.
With Callum Phillips and Declan Hulme also touching down for Town, they outscored their opponents by five tries to four but Carl Forber was able to kick only two goals compared to six from Whitehaven's Louis Jouffret.
