Gareth Bale will play for Real Madrid in the Champions League final
Wales captain Ashley Williams admits panic will set in watching Gareth Bale in the Champions League final.
Real Madrid forward Bale - who scored seven of Wales' 11
goals in qualifying for Euro 2016 - carries the hopes of a nation in
France next month. Before that, however, Bale could win European club football's biggest prize for the second time when Zinedine Zidane's side play city rivals Atletico Madrid in Milan on Saturday night.
"I've spoken to the gaffer [Chris Coleman] about this and we had a laugh," said Williams.
Wales skipper Ashley Williams will be a nervous spectator
"I don't want to watch him because every time he goes down I am going to be panicking.
"Let's not talk about if he wasn't available. We just hope he is there because we know he will do his job as always."
Joe Ledley has returned to light training with Wales soon after breaking his leg
The 26-year-old would become the youngest British player to lift the trophy twice should Real triumph at the San Siro, and Coleman says the entire Wales squad are behind their star performer.
"I'd watch the game anyway, even if none of the boys were involved but we'll watch it together as a squad," said Coleman.
Chris Coleman hopes he can lead Wales to a World Cup before the end of his contract
"A Cardiff boy and he would be a two-time Champions League winner in three years. Absolutely fantastic."
