Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the French Open due to a wrist injury

Rafa Nadal has pulled out of the French Open because of a wrist injury.

Nadal, who had booked his place in the third round, was aiming to win an unprecedented tenth title at Roland Garros.
But he has been forced to abandon his challenge, with his left wrist - his racket hand - the problem.
